Dave's Bio

Dave started calling in the summer of 1953 under the direction of J. Bard McNulty who had just leared to call from Al Brundage.

In 1965 Dave was the co-caller at Square Dance Fiesta at Papoose Pond in N. Waterford, Maine. This week long event was held for 25 years with several changes in callers. Dave also ran a March Wind Ding at East Hill farm in New Hampshire. It lasted about 25 years also.

Dave & Barbara were inducted into the SDFNE (Square Dance Foundation of New England)HALL OF FAME in 2000.He is the Secretary of NECCA (New England Callers Association) and Vice Chairman of the New England COOP committee. He is also an active member of the Conn. Callers Association and has been a member of CALLERLAB since 1975.

He and his wife Barbara live in East Hampton, CT. He is involved in many community activities in East Hampton.
